The Computing Society provides technical services at little or no cost to its members. These include:

• IRC – an Internet Relay Chat network, where the CompSoc community gathers.
• Member’s server – members are entitled to a free account on our server, which in turn allows:
  • Email
  • Web Hosting
  • Databases (on request)
  • Note that all services are covered by our Terms of Service
• Gaming servers
• Mailing lists

We also offer accounts on our member’s server to groups and societies at Warwick.

Those who are interested have the chance to join the technical team (or “techteam”), and learn useful real-world administration skills.

If you have a question or problem with any technical services provided by CompSoc you can contact us by:

• visiting #tech on our IRC server (see above),
• opening a ticket directly in our ticketing system, or
• Opening a choob or website ticket on trac.
• mailing the techteam.
